The Nike Sabrina 1 has quickly transitioned from the WNBA hardwood to NBA courts across the country as players like Jrue Holiday, Mikal Bridges and Jordan Poole have dawned the low-cut Zoom-assisted model on a number of occasions. Taking on colorways from the silhouette’s continued release to Player Exclusive models, the Sabrina 1 is now expected to release in an Oregon Ducks-exclusive iteration that Ionescu often wore throughout the 2023 WNBA Season.

Ionescu’s alma mater is represented in more ways than just the Eugene institution’s synonymous green and yellow palette, as the midsole comes embroidered with a “QUACK” tout in bright yellow. Harkening to Ionescu’s record-setting collegiate career, the front half of the silhouette is dominated almost exclusively by an evergreen hue that engages the textile upper, tongue, laces and inner lining for a near-clad composition. Consuming the front half of the midsole in tandem with the tread, the persistent green shade takes a back seat across the latter half of the model as a highlighter yellow animates the mid-foot, heel construction and the “S” logos affixed to the tongue tabs. Elsewhere, the two-toned treatment is contrasted with a seldom jet-black tint that clarifies the profile swooshes and the letter “i” inspiration of the heel – which draws a singular line across the tread and to the tip of the mudguard.

The Nike Sabrina 1 “Oregon Ducks” is currently slated to release in the spring of 2024. In the meantime, the pair can be below in official imagery.
