Burgundy And Gold Decorate This Upcoming Nike LeBron NXXT Gen AMPD

The bridge from Air Zoom Generation to NXXT Gen is ready to come to life on January 5th as the AMPD model is set to debut in the “First Game” colorway on January 5th. However, there’s plenty more to anticipate as we reveal a first look at an upcoming Burgundy/Gold colorway.

A seamless blend of LeBron James’ first-ever signature shoe and the current model’s parallel model the LeBron NXXT Gen, this hybrid model truly puts into perspective the length of King James’ career. From his initial start in the Fall/Winter of 2003 to dropping over 25/7/7 a game in his final year of his thirties, LeBron’s career may never be matched ever again in terms of longevity and quality of production. There’s no slowing down the all-time leading scorer, which means Nike will be tasked with more design challenges in the future.

This new “Burgundy” colorway joins the multi-colored “I Promise” version and the purple/blue Summit Lake Hornets edition, and given how the current season isn’t even halfway through, we can anticipate more NXXT Gen AMPD options moving forward. Stay tuned as we learn full release details.

In other Nike Basketball news, the GT Cut 3 is set to debut at retail later this month.
