In September of last year, Reebok launched a new chapter of the brand called LTD, an forward-thinking wing of the brand comprised of three essential tenets of innovation: Learn, Test, Design. Unveiled to the world through the Club C LTD and the Club C FWD, Reebok flexed its ability to reimagine its most prized archival silhouettes with modern cues found in fashion and tech.
Launching exclusively in Europe, Reebok LTD began its slow and steady growth, appearing at a curated selection of retail partners. Now, Reebok is finally ready to launch its Summer/Fall line-up on their website, debuting several new styles for this inaugural drop.
Several eye-catching styles are set to drop on June 21st, including the Reebok LTD DMX Ruffle. This women’s-exclusive take on the 1997 running icon sees pleated ruffles in mesh around the ankle and down the lace collar.
Moving on to the late 1980s is this modernized spin on the Reebok CXT cross-training shoe. Originally debuting in 1989, the CXT returns in 2024 under the LTD umbrella with the oversized CXT and ERS (Energy Return System) lettering removed, opting for a cleaner silhouette. The Reebok branding is debossed into the ankle in a tonal execution. Three colorways will be available on June 21st for $230.
Moving onto hoops, Reebok highlights the BB 5600 with a sleeker finish via black/white leather uppers and a pre-yellowed sole. Of all the LTD models, Reebok has done — to its benefit — the least on the BB 5600. If comparisons can be made, the Rick Owens Geobasket comes to mind. Both pairs retail for $260.
The remaining pairs below are already part of the Reebok LTD catalog; the aforementioned Club C LTD and Club C FWD LTD are joined by remixed takes on the Classic Leather and the DMX Run 6. The only contemporary style is the Floatride Energy Argus, which features one of the more unique lacing systems on the market.
This entire line-up of Reebok LTD is set to drop on reebok.com on June 21st.
