The Nike Field General 82 Wears An “Aluminum” Base

Retro Denver Broncos colors take over.

The Nike Field General 82 Wears An “Aluminum” Base

Concurrent with anticipation for the Union Nike Field General dropping in early Fall 2024, new general release pairs keep on surfacing.

Following images of a canvas and suede “London” colorway, Nike returns to a traditional leather and nylon mix on this latest pair. A pastel-like “Aluminum” shade encompasses most of the upper, contrasted by “Total Orange” hits on the Swoosh, heel, and tongue branding for an energetic display. The shoe’s defining feature – a turf-ready sole – presents in “Gum Light Brown” to complete the design.

Each subsequent Field General 82 sheds light on Nike’s ambitions for the long-archived 1980s football shoe, and while the formula has varied slightly since Nike brought it back via the OG White/Red/Black colorway earlier this year, it appears the brand’s focus is on lively palettes with subtle ties to the gridiron. Intentional or not, this latest installment aligns well with retro Denver Broncos jersey colors.

Enjoy official images of the Nike Field General 82 “Aluminum/Gum Light Brown/Total Orange” below and look for pairs on shelves in Fall 2024 for $100.
