You are looking at the Nike LeBron XI. That’s right-the mystery shoe that was spotted on the feet of King James over the weekend was indeed his next signature model. The design comes equipped with a pretty sizable chunk of what’s being called “Armorposite” material across the upper, which clutches the shoe from the bottom up in the same way that the carbon fiber piece on the current Nike LeBron X Elite does. On top of that Dynamic Flywire returns with a bit more of a conspicuous arrangement as just the lace-loops and a few wires revealed.
You’ll also note that the sneaker gets rid of the full length Vis Zoom treatment across the bottom, opting instead to tuck away any Air it’s holding. Speaking of cushioning, it’s said that the Nike LeBron XI will be cushioned by a mix of Lunarlon and Zoom, embedded into the midsole of the shoe; this is an interesting move considering visible cushioning has been a visual key over the last four models, leading some to believe that the shoes LeBron did indeed break out during a weekend practice were either a Soldier or Ambassador shoe. In any case, these are the real deal LeBron XI, and is currently slated for an October debut for $200 in five colorways.
