Back in the late 80’s and early 90’s, the Nike Air Trainer line was given a big boost by the “Bo Knows” ad campaign. Bo Jackson was one of the most electrifying athletes you could ever watch and as an athlete endorser for Nike, he lent instant credibility to the kicks he sported, not only for his dazzling efforts on the baseball and football field, but for his likable personality and superhuman aura. The Air Trainer SC has since gone on to reach classic status in the sneaker world and with plenty of excitement surrounding their new Trainer 1 model, Nike has decided to re-release the Air Trainer SC this winter in a colorway that’s is still near and dear to Bo. The kicks he made famous will be returning in a crisp Black/Grey color scheme that is obviously influenced by Jackson’s days as an L.A. Raider. You can expect these super-fresh classics to hit shelves some time during the holiday ’09 season. Stay tuned for specific release info and be sure to check out a bunch more pics after the jump.
