Inching closer and closer to debatable insanity, Nike and their latest creations have often strayed far from the lines of the retro ideal, handing staples like the Waffle Racer and Daybreak to design aggressors Chitose Abe and Jun Takahashi, respectively. In similar vein, and surely of the same forward-thinking energy, the imprint’s mainline endeavors have followed much in tow, creating the wild ZoomX Vista Grind in response. Bold and bashfully loud initially, the pair is now showing off its more reserved side as it pairs neutral grey uppers with a stark black sole unit. Small segment notes of orange add more visual intrigue, with interesting modifications in terms of material making for a surprise entry despite its recent debut. Where the first few struck up the same sort of construction as the iconic React Element 87s, these are more related to the 55 with its solid structure and lack of overt translucent finishes. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it rolling out to select retailers as well as Nike.com soon.
