Designed by Eric Avar, the Nike Air Foamposite One debuted in 1997 as one of Penny Hardaway's signature shoes. It was one of the most expensive basketball sneakers of the era and over the last few years, it has developed into a cult classic. The Air Foamposite One is composed of a seamless liquid Foam mold, a Zoom Air unit, and a carbon-fiber midfoot plate.
