Here’s a first look at an upcoming colorway that might stir some controversy with the sneakerheads and basketball fans up in the New York and Cleveland. Sneaker News confirmed the release of the Varsity Royal/Total Orange-White colorway of the Air Max LeBron VIII before a preview was even available – so here’s a preliminary look at the colorway that resembles both the New York Knicks jerseys as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers Hardwood Classics throwbacks. New York and Cleveland were the two frontrunners in the LeBron James sweepstakes and to say that emotions were toyed with would be an understatement. Team affiliations aside, this is a great colorway that some will compare to the Zoom LeBron IV ‘Birthday’ edition.
We also get a look two all new colorways that have never been previewed before; the first White/Blue pair features white leather with a blue tongue and a darker shade on the Flywire panels (a ‘Duke’ colorway perhaps) and the Black/Charcoal/Red pair draws comparisons to the recently re-released Dark Charcoal Air Jordan IX. We also get another look at the Miami-themed LeBron 8 ‘Pre-Heat’. I personally like the LBJ 8 so it is what it is but I think we should have seen this design coming. Lebron has been known to say he likes the Jordan 7 and these have that feel to them. Especially that last pair that seems to have a shadow grey and black Bordeaux/Raptor feel to it.

Somebody please explain when LEBRON ever was associated with the KNICKS!?!?!? Get that outta here! If you ever watched basketball you'd know that was the colorway of the Cavs back in the day. You should know that… CRAIG EHLO!

ive tried it on in a nike outlet here, i was amazed by the comfort.. wow. hope they would release some low version
