Nike Air Flightposite One – Allan Houston Autographed Game-Worn PE

Nike Air Flightposite 1 Allan Houston Autographed Pe 02

Allan Houston’s monstrous contract might have been the epitome of poor management of finances for the New York Knicks during the last decade. Houston will always be remembered for his pure-as-gold jumpshot and his series-winning floater in Game 5 of the first-round match-up against Miami in 1999, but his bloated contract handcuffed the Knicks organization quite some time. At one point, Allan Houston – a retired Allan Houston – was the second highest paid player in the NBA with a yearly salary eclipsed only by Kevin Garnett.

Allan Houston wasn’t exactly a super-star player that would command a signature line of shoes, but he did wear a number of notable Nike shoes like the Nike Air Max Elite and Shox Supremacy, but the most memorable pair is easily this Nike Air Flightposite One PE. For you older heads, these PE’s were featured in SLAM Kicks magazine (which premiered the Air Jordan VI Olympic), back when PEs were called ‘Exclusives’ for a reason. The Nike Air Flightposite One Allan Houston PE is one of the rarest Player Exclusives to date, but this pair you see here was game-worn and autographed by the man himself. If you’re not familiar with these, check out the images below and take a look at the auction from vivid.vintage on eBay.
