Did you know that Michael had no problem playing in low-cut shoes? During the 1995-96 season, Michael wore the Air Jordan XI IE Low, a low-cut version of the Air Jordan XI that featured a completely different upper construction that utilized leather, mesh, and a Fuse-like ventilation system. The original 1996 version featured a translucent outsole and since then, we’ve seen these re-release two additional times with translucent black outsoles, and it appears that we’ll be getting the same once again when the Air Jordan XI IE Low in Black/Varsity Red drops again in the Fall 2011 season. Which do you prefer, the original translucent outsole version or the newer ‘smoked’ outsole? Check out these new detailed images below and stick with Sneaker News for more updates regarding the Air Jordan XI IE Low releases for this year. via Marqueesole.
