We’ve seen custom sneaker projects inspired by themes and stories in the past, but none as well constructed as the Air Jordan 1 Gas Mask. With a few added parts and careful craftsmanship, artist Freehand Profit has transformed the Air Jordan 1 High Strap ‘Lakers’ into a supremely constructed gas mask, with the Jordan Brand insignia aptly placed around the contraption. Although not entirely functional, this Air Jordan 1 gas-mask possesses the unsettling and slightly macabre demeanor often associated with free-roamers of post-apocalyptic wastelands. The Air Jordan 1 Gas Mask is actually one of a great collection of sneaker gas masks he calls the ‘Branding Wars Series’, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more gas mask customs and check out the gallery of images below.
