Asics has teamed up with Japanese retaiiler Gettry in a collaborative effort to produce a sweet new colorway of the Asics Double Clutch, using military themes and accents for a rugged yet refined appeal. The camouflage upper is paired with olive green suede and a blast of orange on the upper as well as the  inner lining and features a golden zipper on the lateral side of the heel for an additional military inspiration. We’ve seen zippers on mid-top casual shoes, like the adidas Nizza High Zipper and the recently redone Nike Blazer Mid, but the Gettry x Asics Double Clutch MIL not only makes use of the functionality of the zip, but the style points as well. More images below, so take a look and let us know what you think.
