The second Air Jordan V release of the year comes in an all-new colorway never done before on the fifth Air Jordan shoe. A tonal grey upper with a white inner lining is the motif, and you can only hypothesize that Jordan Brand is looking to milk as much of the ‘Cool Grey’ craze as it can. The ‘Cool Grey’ pigment is arguably the most popular non-Bulls color theme in the Air Jordan history, which began with the Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’ release in 2001. Since then, we’ve seen the Air Jordan III, IV, IX, and XIV feature prominent use of the neutral tone, and with the Air Jordan V, it seems to work quite well. Tomorrow is the official release date for these long awaited Jordans, so hit up your local Jordan Brand retailer like Extra Butter (which will hold a special Friday the 13th movie night followed by a midnight release event) or snag a pair now on eBay.

I'm gonna pass on these. I really like these shoes but my money is kind of tight especially with the True Blue 3's coming out next month. Plus 2 or more colorways of the AJ 5 are coming out later this year so i probably will get either the Blk/Metallic 5s or the Red/Whte/Blue 5's. Plus there might be that Grape/Laney pack coming out this year. If these are still around a month from now then i might consider getting them especially since i like the colorway and the reflective tongue.

damn….thought i could at least wait till the actual day of the release to cop and not "midnight it" on-line with this release….. like i had to do with the YOTR last week…… but i guess i was wrong…… the 3 main on-line sources are all sold out of my size 11 or any other mid size for that matter…… wonder if anyone (finish line or nike .com) will do a restock on these like with the flint 13's, bor-doh/bordeaux 7's and i think with the cement 3's…… if they do it will be in the next couple of days so my fingers are crossed….. lesson to be learned ( and i thought i already learned this) CAN'T SLEEP IF YOU WANT THEM ON YOUR FEET
