Last Friday was the official release of the Ronnie Fieg x Asics GT-II, and the sneakerhead response was “overwhelming”, as described by Fieg himself. By the time the doors at David Z. in SoHo, NY opened, the line was 60+ deep, and as a gesture of appreciation for those who waited the long and hard hours, Ronnie Fieg hooked up his supporters with some sustenance in the form of breakfast sandwiches. The shoes, which feature a buttery royal blue suede with ‘ultra marine’ Asics insignia, sold out immediately, and with news from Ronnie Fieg himself that the GT-II would be the penultimate Asics collab release at David Z., the long wait was certainly worth it. Good idea to release them only in small quantities, exclusively sold in a tiny back alley type shop, so I have no choice but buy them off of one of these ratty assholes of eBay who charge you double (or tripple) the price.

but you said hypebeasts' ruined the space jams, how? If you do not care what other people think is cool then you would not unlike jams just because other people wear them for whatever reason. Who gives a shit why someone else wears a shoe you like? If you like them you like them. Now me, I buy shoes I like and that is the only criteria I go by. If It happens that a shoe I like a million other people like them, I don't care and If it turns out that very few people like them, I don't care. I cosign, I tried to get these asics but the site timed out for 40 minutes while I was at work, sold out of my size 10.5 and now they are selling at $300 plus, So I just copped the whole Saucony elite master control collection instead. I actually happy about it, Saucony x Bodega limited to 300 pairs; STEAL
