If there would be just one other colorway for Air Jordans next to the Black/Red, it would be tough not to choose the trademark colors of the North Carolina Tar Heels. We recently showed you the purported UNC-specific ‘University Blue’ Air Jordan 2012, but here we have a first detailed look at what the Tar Heels could be sporting on court real soon; it features a suede portions that form a unique visual and textural contrast with the glossy Flywire shell, with a solid grey outsole and tongue accents providing the updated Tar Heel colorway insignia. Ironically, it’s the Black/Red trademark colorway mentioned earlier that we’ve yet to see – so far it’s been just the White/Black, Year Of The Dragon, and these eye-catching babies. They look better with the high bootie thing but It would be nice to see jordan brand make a shoe that is actually creative and looks nice. I want a shoe that looks as hot as it performs. Not something thats bland that performs well. And to be honest the air jordan 2011 was a good show but overrated in terms of performance.
These Jordan's don't seem to fit the marquee line of previous Air Jordan's. I've been collecting only the premier line of Air Jordan's from I to XXIII and even the 2009, 2010 and 2011's. The 2012 seem more like the Team Jordan from back in the day up to these fusions. The one thing I can say is Michael Jordan only wore 3-4 different color ways per season, a white pair in the regular season, a second pair during the All-Star game and a black pair in the Playoffs. You would never catch Michael Jordan wearing team Jordans, dub zeros or any of these Spizike's at all. The 2012's seem to be that, a pair of low end Jordan's Michael wouldn't be caught dead wearing.

Just because Nike makes them doesn't mean you have to buy them. You want to show your disdain for this shoe? Don't buy it. Nike will learn their lesson when they have stacks and stacks of these taking up space in the outlets.

Nothing good about this at all. After MJ retired the shoes got uglier and uglier...this one is almost offensive.
This cw helps a bit... But it's gonna take something a lot better to get used to this shoe. Prob will be great for on court performance, but not close to rockable with any cw out thus far. A bred version might do a little more. If a reasonable color scheme does come out, at least the hype won't make these unattainable for people that do want them to wear casually or on-court...
NO matter what angle you show these 2012s from their still ugly! i see NOTHING good about the shoe except that inner booty/sock that comes with it. the shoe looks like it was designed by a guy in his late 60s

i need to see a chicago color and a all black with hints of red with maybe a gum sole.at first i was like what is this world coming too but im really feeling these.something fresh and new.they would look way better without the toe cap

Cant even front quality is there these may not be the best aesthetically, however the suede on these looks nice n the fly-weir section looks to have an iridescent glitter effect pretty nice let these go on clearance im copping every pair.

I agree. Most people nowadays don't understand that Air Jordans are premium basketball shoes. They are meant to perform on the court. That's the reason top ballers like Ray Allen, Mike Bobby, and Dewayne Wade wear his shoes. Only when "Retro" is slapped on his shoe, people wanna cop them to stunt in or just to resale for a higher price. When it all boils down, in about 5 to 10th years when KBT release these as Retros, watch the same mofos that called them hideous what in like like 3 in the morning for its release!
Jordans 1-14 were premium/performance basketball shoes (for their time) as well. They didn't use that as an excuse for them to not look good.
