Last week, Jordan Brand officially unveiled the Air Jordan 2012 ‘Year Of The Dragon’, detailed by a number of historic insignia and focusing on the significance of the number ’9′. That number serves as one of Michael Jordan’s lucky numbers as well as a meaningful icon in Chinese history. ’9′ is also the number of pieces you will see in the special packaging for the Air Jordan 2012 ‘Year Of The Dragon’; two shoes, two inner booties, three insoles, one special edition bag, and one oversized three-shelf box (nine pieces total) make up this year’s Air Jordan/Chinese Zodiac connection. You thought those Defining Moments or Collezione Packages were big? Those have nothing on the upcoming Aj 2012 Dragons. i know, i know, i know, i'm a crazy SOB, but i think the quality looks very good and as crazy as i may be, i personally do like the colorway and i especially like the lower inner booty's tongue.

JB...if your not gonna work on any innovation and are just gonna keep intergrating what nike does with their shoes, at least make that shit look good. the q flights with the hyperfuse material was whatever...a flights with the flywire, forgettable...but these 2012s with the kobe system...a nightmare!!! get that shit together. u won't be forgiven just cuz we all love the retros.

when i saw the white/black colorway i couldnt stand the shoe, i was extremely disapointed, but now this colorway is making me feel a little better, dont think its great but i dont think its horrible either

Everybody complains all the time about the quality of jordans...but then these come out and everybody complains bout how ugly they are...I think the quality on the 2012 looks amazing...leather looks premium and the fly wire looks strong...I'm not buyin this "special packaging" gimmick tho...y'all hype junkies can eat it up

Lovin it. Nice packaging and a good look at how the jb brand is trying to keep the yearly sig shoes up to the high standards available by other brands.
i know one sole is a full length air sole, the other is a separate unit front and rear zoom air sole, what could the third be, lunar foam?
third one is a zoom air forefoot and air max heel combo, if i'm not mistaken
i hope so, nice I cant be the only person who swaps inner sole on shoes, like having flightposite 1 soles in my nike boots, or my spizikes
so many things to say... ill keep it short. first of all they do make this shoe to ACTUALLY play ball in, but damn, 95 percent of us would rather get 2 pairs of hyperfuse/dunks rather then buy this gimmick

honestly, im not really feeling this design for these '12 but for some reason this c/w is making the shoes look on point i wouldnt mind copping. imo
Seems gimmicky to me. I hate how they are trying to sell you all these additional components that you likely will not need or use. Nike has been doing the same thing with the KBVII. Its ridiculous that these extra inserts cost so much. The shoe is cool, but it would be better if the consumer could choose what options it wanted.
JB should focus on how the kicks look and not so much on how complex they can make the box, SMH
Exactly....Lets get a shoe thats unique and looks good and performs well...I'm sick of this whole perform well stuff. Its time for someone new....no more Tinker.....Bring back the guy who made the 17s
