Last year, Sneaker News compiled all the best Air Jordan VI Customs for a week-long battle to determine the best Air Jordan VI Custom. There’s no question that these ‘Air Yeezy Net‘ customs would’ve cracked that exclusive list, because this pair of custom sneakers, completed by Mike Nameus, cuts no corners and seamlessly welds two completely different shoes into one unique pair of neckbreakers. Starting with the Air Jordan VI ‘Oreo’ as the base, Mike repainted the entire upper to match the ‘Net’ colorway, using a woodburning tool to carve in the ‘Y’ detailing at the toe-box. What sets this customs on a higher level is the glow-in-the-dark treatment given to the translucent outsoles for the complete Air Yeezy appeal. Check out the gallery of images below, and if you think this is better than the winner of the Air Jordan VI: Battle Of The Customs (which was the South Beach), let us know in the comments section below! via ISS.
much better execution than the south beach's, this one was definitely the winner, but hey you win some you lose some. A++
He shoulda made the black and pinks, that woulda been hella legit with the black suede, on the oreos. But none the less id drop a few stacks for a pair of these.
If I had to pick, i'd take these over actual Yeezys. We start off 2012 with 2 awesome pairs of custom VI's
These are fresh as hell. One of the best customs that were inspired by another shoe that I've seen in a while. I swear if I see one more "South Beach" custom I'm gonna cut someone
People really found a way to put the white Varsity Red 6s to good use. They sat on the shelves and everyone decided to make a custom lol
looks pretty dope. lace job could have been better but he did a much better job putting these together than i could have
This honestly looks better than some of the half assed retros released and I put that on my daddy's dead grave.
VERY NICE like the Y on the grey nd the glow in the dark sole nd the net color am like out of words for these dope
Wow, I normally am not a fan of custom kicks, or even the yeezy's for that matter. These are pretty dope.
damn. i feel dumb. just it doesn't look like it tho. doest the material look like leather. not that suede used on the oreos
