Nike’s Elite socks have been cool kid garb for a minute now, with the padded cotton pairs being a way to set yourself apart from the crowd a bit. Things really got serious last month though when, amidst the ‘Galaxy’ frenzy, this tie-in pair popped up as a killer consolation prize and quite the hot ticket item on the secondary market. For the time being Nike Basketball is apparently continuing down the road of Elite socks to go with specific sneakers, as the Nike Zoom Kobe VII ‘Poison Dart Frog’ and the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Summit Lake Hornets’ are both shown here with accompanying pairs (not to mention some slick customized AW77 hoodies as well).
