Sneaker News Updated June 12th, 2025: The Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” has restocked at DICK’S here.
In what will go down as a storied year for the Jordan Retro, the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” stands among the giants as a potential record-breaking release. On May 24th, 2025, a mass wave of sneakerheads will flock to stores to secure one of the greatest Air Jordans ever made.
The history of the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” is well documented; born in 1989, this stylish yet simplistic take on Tinker Hatfield’s design was not only a hit on the court, but a true icon on a cultural aspect for its appearance in Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing. In 1999, Jordan Brand re-launched the shoe as a key piece in their budding Retro business; since then, the legend only continued to grow as Jordan fanatics shelled out higher-than-normal dollars to acquire a fresh pair.
It took seventeen years for the Jumpman to bringing back the White Cement 4s with the proper Nike Air branding on the heel. What separates this upcoming 2025 version is a meticulous process to get the classic ’89 shape down to a tee. No shade to that 2016 edition, but the 2025 has it cleared.
Fully aware of its impact on streetwear, Jordan Brand began the Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” release through measured trickles. The shoes first launched at All-Star Weekend in the Bay Area at Jordan Brand’s dedicated consumer space, then again at Ben’s Chili Bowl in Washington D.C. to coincide with the Jordan Brand Classic.
The Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” will finally see its global drop on May 24th, 2025 on SNKRS and select Jordan retailers, but don’t count out more drops ahead of schedule, SNKRS Exclusive Access, Shock Drops and more.
