Amsterdam boutique Patta stepped back from the spotlight of 2010’s #1 sneaker release and only issued a single collaboration last year, a 2×2 pack of boots from an obscure American brand whose biggest impact were their namesake pocketed 1980s runners. Maybe it’s because everything Patta touches turns to gold that the PxK Hiking Collection turned out so well, though a look at this duo’s second team-up suggests strong contributions from both sides. The Patta x KangaROOS Tennis Oxford resurrects a lost classic from ’81 and presents it in three tonal canvas and suede designs befitting today’s styles. These will arrive at select European retailers soon with Concepts in Cambridge, MA the only US store to get pairs; let us know if you’ll make the effort to grab them after you check out more images below. via Sneaker Freaker Germany
