Dutch sneaker suppliers Patta have been silent when it’s come to collaborations in the wake of their world-beating Parra-designed Nike Air Max 1 provided an instant 500% ROI to those lucky enough to snag a pair last March.  Coming in at #1 on a variety of the year’s best-of lists puts Patta in the cushy position of being able to call their next shot, so while you might not have seen the particular brand coming, it’s not terribly shocking to see them spread the heat to one of the underdog brands.  The choice to move forward on the Patta x KangaROOS PxK Hiking Collection is a curious one, but you can’t really argue with the results.  The KangaROOS K2 shows the store’s typical eye for clever color combos with its ‘grape’-flavored accents adding a nice pop to an otherwise earthy design, while two pairs of Woodhollows stay closer to the tonal trend that’s so popular these days.  You can see more photos after the jump including the Victorinox Swiss Army Pocket Knife that comes with the Woodhollows, and look for these at Patta starting November 5th with additional select retailers to join the party one week later.
