Few movies have left their mark on sneaker culture quite like Space Jam. Nearly three decades after Michael Jordan teamed up with Bugs Bunny and the Tune Squad, the 1996 classic still holds a special place in the hearts of sneakerheads and movie buffs everywhere. The legendary Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” might be the shoe that started it all, but Jordan Brand is taking things well beyond that iconic pair with fresh takes on classics and present-day hoops footwear. There’s a whole new lineup of Space Jam-inspired heat bridging the gap between ’96 and ’26.
That’s where Foot Locker comes in and joins the Tune Squad as a power player. The iconic retailer has become the destination of Space Jam, bringing together a collection of kicks inspired by the beloved film. Whether you grew up watching MJ take on the Monstars or you’re just getting familiar with the timeless flick, Foot Locker is the place to get your Space Jam fix and celebrate one of the most important milestones in Jumpman lore.

First up is the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Space Jam”, which puts a cosmic spin on the classic design by transforming the familiar Swoosh into a series of planetary rings. It’s a clever nod to the out-of-this-world setting of Space Jam, adding a playful twist to one of sneaker culture’s most recognizable logos.
The Air Jordan 1 Low “Magic Ball” takes a different approach, dressing the low-top in a matte, iridescent finish that nods to the powerful basketball used by the Monstars to steal the powers of the NBA heroes. Yes, there are meant to match up with the Air Jordan 11 “Magic Ball” which will release later in November.
Next is the Air Jordan 1 Low “Lola Bunny,” bringing a more feminine touch to the collection with its pink and yellow color palette. Inspired by one of the Tune Squad’s most recognizable characters, this pair offers a colorful alternative to the more cosmic-inspired designs.
Best of all, all three styles will be available in full family sizing, so Space Jam fans of all ages can get in on the fun.
Leading the way is the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Hare,” a nod to Bugs Bunny and his iconic on-court uniform. The familiar colors and playful inspiration make this one a natural fit for longtime fans of the franchise, while full family sizing means everyone can get in on the action.
For those looking for something built for today’s game, the Air Jordan 41 “Meteorite” takes things into another galaxy. Its intergalactic blue upper delivers an out-of-this-world look, while glow-in-the-dark outsoles add another dimension to the design. It’s a modern performance silhouette with plenty of Space Jam personality.
Rounding out the hoops lineup is the Jordan Triangle, which channels the franchise’s unmistakable aesthetic through a crisp white upper, contrasting black accents, and a translucent outsole. It’s a cleaner interpretation of the theme told through one of the brand’s modern hoops offerings.
The Space Jam collection isn’t just about what happens on the hardwood either. Jordan Brand is digging deeper into the film’s universe with a trio of retro-inspired releases that bring familiar characters, settings, and sneaker designs into the mix.
First up is the Jordan Spiz’ike Low “Jam Central,” inspired by the legendary arena where the Tune Squad squared off against the Monstars. Drawing from the film’s unforgettable basketball setting, this hybrid Jordan silhouette brings a little movie magic to a sneaker already packed with Jumpman DNA.
Next is the Air Jordan Womens OG, the first-ever women’s exclusively basketball lifestyle model that was introduced in 1998. A vivacious and festive mix of purple, black, and pink induce the “Amusement Park” theme.
Rounding out the lineup is the Air Jordan 3 “Lola Bunny,” a girls-exclusive release inspired by the Tune Squad’s resident femme fatale. Bringing one of the franchise’s most recognizable characters to another beloved Air Jordan Retro, this pair adds a playful touch to the collection. Look for the “Lola Bunny” 3s to release on November 21st in full kids (girls) sizing.
First up is the Air Jordan 11 “Magic Ball,” inspired by the mysterious basketball the Monstars used to steal the talents of NBA stars. Bringing one of the movie’s most memorable plot points to life through footwear, this otherworldly take on the AJ11 is set to release on November 11th in women’s extended sizing.
Next comes the Air Jordan 11 “Green Screen,” a clever nod to the filmmaking magic behind Space Jam. With Michael Jordan famously acting against a green screen to bring his animated co-stars to life, this release pays tribute to the behind-the-scenes process that made the 1996 classic possible. Look for these to drop on November 14th in adult and grade school sizes.
And now, the pièce de résistance. The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” is finally back in all its glory. One of the most celebrated sneakers in Air Jordan history, the black-and-blue classic is forever tied to MJ’s unforgettable big-screen debut and has remained a grail for sneakerheads across generations. On December 12th, the legend returns in full family sizing, giving longtime collectors and a whole new generation another shot at owning a piece of basketball and movie history.
With demand expected to be high, all three Air Jordan 11 releases could be available through raffles on the Foot Locker FLX App. While the release procedures have yet to be confirmed, we recommend downloading the app and getting your account ready ahead of time. You won’t want to be caught sleeping when these joints drop.
