Air Jordan VI “Olympic” – Release Reminder
July 6th, 2012 by John K. | 9 comments

Twelve years ago, Ray Allen went to his first Olympic Games and earned a Gold Medal for USA, leading the team in scoring during the opening preliminary game against China and tying for the team lead in points during the Gold Medal game against France. The fifth-year veteran got his first taste of mainstage victory with that Gold Medal, as an NCAA National Championship and NBA Championship eluded him up until that point. It was during this Olympic run that Ray Allen sported the Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’, bringing the Gold standard to the Jumpman brand that signed him on as one of its future faces. The original 2000 version of this colorway remains one of the most highly sought-after collectibles in the Air Jordan catalog, and tomorrow, a Retro release with minor differences will hit stores, giving Air Jordan fans new and old to revisit this iconic moment in Ray’s career. More of the Air Jordan VI ‘Olympic’ below, so be sure to cop these tomorrow at Jordan Brand retailers, or get ‘em now from yellownsxt on eBay.

Getting mine for $112. Thank God for connects
I got a connect with my local finishline and they didnt have my size because the employees and managers already have them bought for them or their freinds. Sold out and its not even release day yet! Good thing i got a connect with footlocker and im getting my pair!
Got them from FL New Zealand (20hours ahead).The Materials are actually on point however i recommend checking the paint on the midsole before you buy.The reversed midsole annoys me a little it sort of throws off the colorway but still clean on foot
Agreed. I still bought a pair online b/c its a dope sneaker. If i was really good at it, i might buy some angelus and paint the midsole to match the original vers.
@npt how r u annoied over a color change
