Air Jordan 5 Retro – White – Black – Fire Red
September 13th, 2012 by Aaron Hope | 16 comments

Attentive Jordanheads have known for some time to expect a serious run of Air Jordan V Retros next year for the 23rd anniversary (just as with this year’s complete run of OG AJ4s), and here’s a new look at the first one up for the new year. Releasing in late January will be the ‘Fire Red’ Air Jordan 5, a popular 1990 original last seen paired with the AJXVIII in ’08′s Countdown Pack. They don’t have the ’23′ heel embroidery like those CDPs but do keep with the original blocking instead of the roughly opposite concoction we’d seen among the other spring 2013 Air Jordan Retros in a June preview. We still have a ways to go to get to the next round of Q1 drops including a jam-packed holiday season, but new images of the Fire Red Fives follow the jump below and Sneaker News will keep you up to date the whole way.

i love this new look im defenitily gettin these
iced out sole turned me off
Its sad that only a couple retros get the special box treatment! I would like to see them make some kind of special box presentation for other retros than the 3s, 4s, and 11s
These grapes laneys n the elephant prints n hopefully they bring the toros back and my collection of 5s will be complete
Need these & da grape 5s in my life
No special box for the 23rd anniversary series this year I guess. But if the sole turns yellow even slower I'm all for it! They are TOO blue though.
Does anyone else think the soles look way too blue?
Ima go jackoff now
Really like the fact that it's simple in terms of color but still fresh
I just want to wear these with some black jeans with a white tee and black blazer. I know I know "cool story bro"
@Grandiose do black cargos my dude, black pants will stain the white upper
@hozezae black levi jeans dont bleed. i dont know about other brands
The sole is TOO icy. They look funky.

Not bad but I'll probably still be recovering from the holiday season when these drop, so I'll pass
This is Deja Vu...
