Nike Basketball Honors Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Nike Honors Mlk Day 2

Since 1986, Americans have observed the third Monday of every January as Martin Luther King Jr. Day, celebrating the birthday of one of the most impactful individuals in our country’s history. In celebrating Dr. King’s efforts, Nike Basketball presented the 2013 Black History Month Collection anchored by the “Be Bold. Be True.” mantra, embodying Dr. King’s mindset during his period of influence. Although some NBA players broke out their BHM Collection yesterday, the NBA will showcase the Nike Basketball BHM Collection in the form of the LeBron X, Kobe 8, KD V, Hyperdunk 2012, and more during today and tomorrow’s scheduled games. Be advised that the Nike Basketball BHM Collection drops this Saturday, so be sure to check out the NBA Feet recap from this past weekend here to catch the BHM kicks in action as well as the upcoming NBA Feet features to see the entire league pay tribute.
