First and foremost – we’re happy to hear that Kevin Ware’s surgery was a success. Terrible news for a young kid to go down with such a horrific injury, so we wish him and his family the best. Moving on, the 2013 March Madness Tournament sped through the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds, with Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse, and Wichita State advancing to the Final Four. As expected, some nice footwear was spotted on the college courts – a nice follow-up to the impressive on-feet selection from the First and Second rounds that we summarized last week, and some interesting brand match-ups could unfold; two of the four teams are adidas equipped, but the puzzling situation is with Syracuse, a Nike school that wears Jordans, and Wichita State, a Jordan equipped school that wears Nikes. Could make for some eye-catching results (a potential CrazyQuick vs. CrazyQuick delight) so stay tuned!
