In the sneaker custom scene, Rocket Boy Nift might have the most diverse collection of footwear canvases that he works with, switching back and forth between Air Jordan Retros and the Air Foamposites on a regular basis. For his latest work, he puts a focus on Seinfeld – a show known for its plots about “nothing” and also for the diverse sneaker game worn by the show’s headlining actor. For this Air Jordan XI “Seinfeld” custom, he takes a spin off of “nothing” and goes for a rather clean and simple approach, going with a tonal white upper with a solid black outsole and a green inner lining, combining details from the Air Jordan VI “Motorsports” and Air Jordan V “Quai 54″. We’ve got a detailed gallery below so take a look below and let us know what you think!
These are clean but I like his original ideas better than these. One was just like this but where the green is there was black and the other was just like this with a green midsole
I swear....I'm going to paint some flip flops and see is Sneakernews will post them. They'll post anything as long as its a Jordan or Nike branded. Take a long walk off a short cliff with these shits.
These are nice! I really love the color contrasting. Great job. Jordan brand should at least try some new color ways for the High 11
woah dopest customs ive seen recently, if they would've released these i would've jumped all over them.
@TruthAlways You actually gotta email them.
@ChristianAlmuina Dis some research and if you can find him on instagram, he'll give you his email address
@ChristianAlmuina ebay is the only place I know of him to sell his customs. Probably through an auction though
@NYCNATIVE917 Look up Nift, he does original ideas all the time
@JokersWild cause its a shoe about nothing...
If you don't see the similarities minus the red, then you're an idiot. Seinfeld wore the cardinal 7's alot in the show.
1. I'm not a kid, been in the game for years. The correlation to Seinfeld is that these have much to do about NOTHING, hence the PLAIN colorblocking. Just because Seinfeld wore the Cardinals a few times in some episodes has absolutely nothing to do with these. Read twice, speak once. Thanks again for trying.
Nope. The fact that they said that these are Seinfeld customs led me to think that it could possibly be influenced by the cardinals. I just connected the dots. Your argument is invalid with that last comment about these being similar to other nike shoes or any other plain shoes for that matter. These have the same basic color blocking as the cardinals and seinfeld wore the cardinals. That's all I'm saying. No need to come and hate on my thoughts. You're just coming off as a troll. Sit down kid. All you do is hate on this site.
I think you're the idiot for thinking a white red and yellow 7 looks like a white and green and black 11. The only similarity is a white base color and black outsole. If that's the case, then these are similar to a lot of shoes Nike makes.
