The Air Jordan IV is actually a sneaker that’s been given the Superman treatment at retail before, as the Air Jordan IV “Doernbecher” was allowed to bend the rules of branding and put that S-logo on its tongue. Orienting things even more towards Clark Kent (Not the DJ) is this pair from Freaker Sneaks, which adapts his red, blue and gold colors and even replaces the tongue-area Jumpman with the titular superhero. See more on this awesome Air Jordan IV from Freaker Sneaks just after the jump and let us know if it’s one of the better comic book inspired customs we’ve seen in recent memory.
its a really cool idea and well done but i wouldnt be caught dead wearing a "little kids" sneaker. all about simple, classic color-ways. for me at least
I like these and I don't really go for customs. I would like to see one not weathered, clean and bright as hell
Some customs are overdone and played. They cross that line into cheesy. These are done just right IMO. The effect on the midsole and heel, the changed logos, and the coloring is all on point. These are a VERY nice custom shoe.
now i hate when they take classics and mess them up BUT these are cool (still think you need to leave the classics alone ) but very nice work !!!
Super dope concept (not saying it's a nice shoe)... The work on the tongue *pause* is phenomenal... And the heel work and design is tough.
Dope! Couldve done the superman sign on the back a little better but very well dont. love the tongue as well
