The Vintage “Bred” Aesthetic Is Applied To The Air Jordan 1 Mid

Most often injecting fresh life into Jordan’s first signature silhouette, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has continued to experiment with the tonal spectrum and various disparate textiles. Given its recent ubiquitous propositions, the latest offering is a heritage-filled return to the colorways that helped iconized the model.

Near identical to the “Banned” counterpart that released back in 2020, the updated “Bred” proposition sees the midfoot, mudguard and upper base layers render a pitch-black tone whereas the smooth leather vamp, Swoosh and collar overlay proffer the synonymous Red hue. The titular shade is picked up once again throughout the sock liner, laces and tread underfoot before the darkened tone returns for the winged ankle insignia and nylon tongue tab. Complimenting the reconfigured build, a clad white midsole interjects, providing a brightened accent in conclusion.

While we sit tight on further release dates, enjoy official images of the AJ 1 Mid “Bred” below.

For more under Jordan Brand’s umbrella, the Latin Heritage Month “Somos Familia” pack features the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT.
