The LeBron 11 colorway on display here is without a doubt amongst the first of releases planned for King James’ next signature shoe. Only thing is, there appears to have been a bit of a mixup with respect to the name attached. The shoe shown has been constantly called “Armory Slate”, but based on the recently revealed style code it seems that they are instead the parachute gold/arctic green/dark loden/black vesion that’s been spotted on early product sheets. Take another look at the Nike LeBron XI after the jump and check back in with Sneaker News to find out when you can grab a pair for yourself.

Can't wait to see the first Batman "Tumbler" custom. You know it's coming. These grew on me pretty quick. Really digging this style with this particular colorway. Can't wait to cop. Taking a break for a bit and if these drop in October they will be the next shoe purchase... well, after the KD 6 Bamboo.
Ok I'm still not feeling this shoe. But i can tell that another colorway may change my mind on these.
this is the best shoe to drop in a long time... simply amazing work by nike... about time we get something this beautiful
Anyone else notice how the Nike swoosh is slowly yet surely disappearing from the Lebron line? Does Nike possibly have plans to take the Bron line the way of Jordan Brand.....free of all Nike branding?
Still look ugly... No colorway is going to change my mind. Don't know how many times I'm going to say it but if this was another brand shoe hardly anybody would all over it like they are now.
i heard that when they drop these that their are going to be 4 other colorways to drop with these i know the gamma blue colorway and three other I want to know nike. Cause im buying alot of these.
@FOAMHead How is it disspearing? There's a huge nike check on the side of the shoe....damn
@JFresh_136 That's why you're one person with one opinion and everyone else has a mind for their own. thanks.
@EVERYTHING_EPIC lmfao werd
@SirRocco stop trying to stop people from buying what they could like. that's whats wrong with the sneakerhead game. people always trying to force their opinions onto people.
@Workin Hard LOL
I'm actually referring to the actual number of swooshes, not the presence of a swoosh. Early on each shoe contained as many as 3 per shoe, now they're down to 1 per shoe. It was really just a thought to invoke a conversation about the furture of the line.
Um OK... don't know why you needed to tell me that because that's pretty obvious in this day and age...
Forreal man? What are you, like 13? 1. You username is hypebeast 2. You said "sneakerhead game", its not a game it's a hobby 3. How am I stopping anybody from buying these? I am only stating the obvious- people say there ugly but on day of the release they're all sold out and on eBay for 2x the price. THAT'S the problem
HELL NO....the dunkman logo will look sooo stupid replacing the swoosh....lebrons will stay lebrons with the swoosh...nike will never give em that...that would be dumb of them....they would make more money retroing them under Nike basketball...than having to open a lebron brand like jordan brand and having him part owner....they would have to pay him more money...nike ain't dumb...his line will be one of the most popular ones though
I understand where you're trying to go with the conversation but there hasn't been a decrease in Swoosh placement. The X has two large swooshes on the outside heel and the inside from the toe box. I do believe that LeBron's sigs are going to eventually go in the direction of Jordan brand where we might see a "dunkman" logo on the shoes instead of the swoosh. I'm for it. However that Jumpman logo will always be much more iconic than a Dunkman logo or whatever logo they would go with.
At this point in his career, LeBron has gained more hype around his shoes (not to mention the production of alternate shoes such as the ambassador and soldier models) at this point then Mike had at his. LeBron also has so many more colorways than Mike ever had. I'm willing to argue that the LeBron X will go down as one of the most popular sigs of all time. Right up there with the Jordan 1 and XI. Can you imagine when they retro the X in like 5-10 years from now? The hype will be beyond comprehension.
I guess everybody sees its differently....I think the swoosh placement reminds me of the garypayton model the glove....to some I guess placing the swoosh in weird forms is nothing new.....some maybe just aren't use to it...and some just don't like it period...I think it looks fine it kinda would too plain to me without it
@justshoes true, but in that case, the swoosh just looks like a foreign Body to me.
XIs should def get along without that outer swoosh imo...
There's actually two swooshes the other ones on the toe......there's no way they're taking off that swoosh...the lebron line is too attached to the swoosh to the point where every lebron model will look dumb as fuck with a lion head or crown logo or dunkman logo...or blank....the swoosh is a part of the design
