Nike Basketball 2013 “Christmas Pack”
Christmas just wouldn’t be right without the annual trio of holiday themed sneaker releases from Nike Basketball. Don’t worry-they’re on their way. The LeBron 11, KD 6, and Kobe 8 SS will each be releasing on December 26th in unique colorways that will fit right in with the season. LeBron brings snowflakes to the beach, Durant does a Fair Isle Christmas sweater look, and Kobe sheds his skin in anticipation of the Nike Kobe 9. See each after the break and then get the full style info on our sneaker release dates page.
The Christmas colorways of Nike Basketball signature shoes are an annual tradition. Bold designs, material executions and seasonal concepts cut through the cold weather as the LEBRON 11, KOBE 8 SYSTEM and KD VI deliver a gift to the courts. This year, three wintertime stories are linked by special logo lacelocks that connect to create custom signature ornaments.
Snow on the leaves? Never in Miami, but this year LeBron James brings the spirit of the season to the beach with this special edition of the LEBRON 11. A chilly mint color takes on a Christmas green with bold red accents and a frosty translucent outsole. The unique geometry of a snowflake combines with the royal palm to create a kaleidoscopic ‘palmsicle” print.
KOBE 8 SYSTEM
Ready to strike at any moment, the KOBE 8 SYSTEM sheds its skin to prepare for the coming of the KOBE 9 Elite in February 2014. The essence of the shedding skin is exemplified in a bold modern interpretation of aggressive snake scales attached to a translucent mesh shroud. Hits of neon mamba green and chrome gold bring in the holiday season.
Kevin Durant takes the court in Christmas red with accents of gold and mint. With a twist on traditional Christmas prints, the KD VI features a Fair Isle style Christmas sweater pattern that incorporates trees, stripes, and his number 35. Christmas plaid adorns the collar lining, with decorative detail worked into the metallic red Nike Flywire technology upper and a mint green speckled sole. It’s the perfect outfit for this year’s festivities.

Kd's are a must for me and I'm really starting to want the Kobes. I like the Lebron's its just tough to put up 200 on every Lebron you like, but they are worth the 200
I love the lebron 11s so much this year and these christmas joints did not dissapoint. I like some colorways of the KDs and im not a huge fan Of the VIs, but these KDs will forever be the best colorway or the VIs no doubt. The Kobes are alright but they dont fit the christmas theme like the other 2
the kobe 8 is cold! it made two christmas releases. the last christmas 8 was the best out of the 3, and so is this one.
I really like that mint green on the lebrons tho kds are nice too. Kobes are starting to fail me... Big kobe fan but his shoes are ehh...
Dear NIKE, why do you continue to release Christmas themed shoes after Christmas. Please tell me. Dont you think us as people would like to have these before Christmas, especially the kd's and lebrons which are more Christmas shoes then ever.
Wow. Nike kinda failed this year for the christmas releases. However, I do think the ornament concept was a good idea.
Now the silly looking lace locks make more sense. That's actually a cool concept, although the ornaments won't be of much use this year since these come out after Christmas.
@jlitterello this is the best year of christmas releases i've seen, unless your talking about the KDs then u r on drugs
Traditionally your tree is suppose to stay up until the new year so the ornaments still have time to shine
@qtbigwatts bra he can do what he wants with his christmas tree, everyone has their own tradition
I wasn't telling him to KEEP HIS TREE UP personally. Go back and reread the wording. Just like you have the freewill to write whatever you want in your comment, I do too have that same freewill. Thank you Mr. Ilikeshoes for your comment and time. God Bless
