The usage of gold in sneaker releases is one that we’re used to seeing linked up with specific achievements like a gold medal at the Olympics or a championship season. Whether or not that’s the case with this Reebok Rail isn’t quite clear, but for what it’s worth Glenn Robinson did sneak in a ring before exiting the league (He was an NBA Champion during the 2005 season with the Spurs). Then again, maybe it’s a throwback to his Purdue NCAA days. The upcoming white/black/gold version will be available at spots like Finish Line, Foot Locker, Jimmy Jazz, Eastbay, City Gear, Karmaloop.com and Reebok.com starting next Friday, March 21st. Continue reading for a detailed set of images on them and watch for more sneaker release dates right here.
