There’s been a little buzz lately about a special feature of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High in the OG “Chicago” colorway: the fact that they will come out of the box unlaced, just like original pairs from 1985. It’s a nice little touch to accentuate the accuracy of the retro. Just in case you needed proof that OG’s came unlaced, here today we have a beautiful, pristine pair in such nice condition they look like somebody just hopped out of a time machine after hitting a mall in 1985. As you can see, you have to do your own lace job on the originals, just like the pairs releasing on May 30th.
