Russell Westbrook made his first solo appearance without Kevin Durant during the Oklahoma City Thunder’s media day availability this past Friday. While everyone expects Russ to have an incredible year statistically now that he’ll be the lone superstar on OKC, perhaps Jordan Brand is leading that push with their latest Air Jordan 31 video spot that may have taken a subtle jab at KD. Westbrook showed up to media day wearing a brand new Air Jordan 31 OKC Home PE to help jumpstart the clean slate. Inspired by the Air Jordan 1, the Jordan 31’s overall silhouette is a bit more lifestyle friendly than past performance models. The Flyknit and leather upper display a fresh white for an extra simple aesthetic while vibrant orange pops on the ankle, heel and Jumpman branding.
