The Air Jordan 1 in the original High seems to be getting all the love, but credit the Mid (previously dubbed the Phat, but has since shed that quirky name) for keeping the AJ1 an ongoing topic with Jordan Brand for years and years. This clean and simple “Cool Grey” colorway is perfect for those who want that casual look with that timeless Air Jordan appeal, with white laces, midsoles, and Wings logo completing one of the freshest AJ1s yet. Over the years, many dedicated AF1 appreciators have come forward to map out and execute a Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke design. Those who have stepped up to the challenge have each set out to create a supremely unique design that not only expresses individuality, but also allows each creator to leave their personal mark on the hallowed Air Force 1 legacy with their very own 1 of 1. This latest offering comes from Vandal-A, who we know as an indie producer of some of the best sneaker-related graphic tees the game has ever seen. Shifting over from tees to the Air Force 1 as his palette, he presents a tasty concept that seamlessly blends elements of two of atmos’s most legendary Air Max 1 releases (the “Safari” and “Viotech”). The shoe is brought to life through some tasteful color and material choices, using predominantly earth-toned leather, canvas and suede, while incorporating some never-done-before Bespoke details like the embroidered mini-Swoosh at the forefoot and the massive lasered ‘AIR’ on the cork heel. Sneaker News has a full detailed gallery of Vandal-A‘s Air Force 1 vision after the jump, so continue on for a better look and let us know what you think and where these stack up against some of the other memorable Bespoke creations we’ve seen.

Yet another crazy sample to come out from Flipjays’ table at Sneaker Con is this uber-rare sample of the Air Jordan III. Looks like the basic White/Cement colorway, correct? True, but check out the outsole because these are the infamous “Clear Sole” sample that never was produced. Of course, the clear icy sole isn’t a myth in the Air Jordan III storyline thanks to the Air Jordan III Doernbecher, but this unreleased sample of the White/Cement III which dates back to the early 2000s is definitely one of the crazier samples that have never been produced. More shots below, so take a look!
