The Fila Grant Hill II continues to get dressed up in that classic New York combination of orange and blue. This latest version, another that unfortunately isn’t slated for a retail release, is one cooked up as a gift for DJ Clark Kent. The Knicks-loving sneaker extraordinaire has of course had his hands in plenty of sneaker designs for various brands of the years, but these in particular were a gift from a brand and not a collaboration (confirmed by Clark himself). Continue reading to see more on the Fila Grant Hill II “Knicks” 1-of-1 and let us know in the comments if you’re pining for a retail release.

EDIT: Please note this is not a collab between DJ Clark Kent and Fila.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen LeBron James break out a new Nike LeBron X Elite colorway, but that’s just what happens when you sweep a series and your next opponent goes the full seven.  The wait ends tonight when King James’ Miami Heat take on the Chicago Bulls, but first let’s focus on the first LeBron 10 Elite colorway LBJ himself wore about a month ago.  The ‘Sport Turquoise’ LeBron X Elites made quite an impression when James wore them against the Celtics in April, and a new set of images suggests this explosive style might be the most popular LeBron Elite colorway to hit retail upon its May 25th release date.  Let us know your opinion after seeing more images below and stick with Sneaker News for the latest.

The Hyperfuse 2013 making its first appearance last month proves that series is still very much alive and well.  So instead of a gradual replacement, models like the Nike Zoom Hyperfranchise represent an expansion of the foundational series’ strengths.  This Photo Blue and Night Stadium Hyperfranchise adds True Yellow accents and an orange lining for a slight Oklahoma City Thunder lean, and the XDR outsoles mean you can ball all summer on the OKC courts, or anywhere there’s asphalt and a hoop, for that matter.  Let us know how they compare to the turquoise edition after you’ve seen more below and look for this Hyperfranchise at select Nike Basketball retailers.

The Zoom Hyperfuse was de-emphasized to some degree during the 2012-13 season, but its namesake technology extends throughout the Nike Basketball catalog. Hyperfuse is a key part of the LeBron X along with the Hyperaggressor and Hyperdisruptor, and now comes another option for the summer ball season. The Nike Zoom Hyperfranchise XD is ready for anything with its lightweight build, superior breathability for those muggy days and an XDR outsole made to withstand the rigors of months of asphalt abrasions. Check out this Sport Turquoise, black and Bright Citrus debut in more detail below including its ‘Finish Your Breakfast’ inscription, then grab yours from Afew.

Do the sorts of hybrid upgrades applied to the Nike Air Max Uptempo Fuse 360 put the sneaker back into the discussion as a viable choice for hooping? The OGs are of course a bit dated at this point, but perhaps the introduction of a 360 Air unit on the bottom and some Fuse treatment up top can put them close the to perimeter of that performance zone. Then again, they make a fine sneaker off the courts as well thanks to the black and pink combo that’s been a surefire hit over the past couple of years. It came on strong at last November’s basketball season tipoff with ‘Armed Forces Classic’ PEs and a bunch of Rajon Rondo colorways, but the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2012 hasn’t been as prominent as either of its predecessors. Factors including Rondo’s injuries and new models like the Hyperaggressor explain the shift, but that doesn’t mean the Hyperfuse 2012 Low isn’t still churning out new styles during the NBA Postseason. This colorway finds itself somewhere between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers with a tonal blue upper accented by Bright Citrus. Keep your eyes peeled for these at Nike Basketball retailers and have a closer look below so you’ll know when you spot them.
