The Big Three of the Miami Heat were back in fine form last night, with the combination of LeBron, Wade, and Bosh scoring 85 points to help their team to victory. Their sneakers matched the performance, as player exclusive versions of the Nike LeBron X Elite, Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore, and Nike Air Max Hyperposite, respectively, hit the floor for the players. The Spurs sort of went with the “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach-Tim Duncan lacing up the same pair of the adidas Crazyquick and Gary Neal hoping to match his breakout 3-point shooting performance with the same Nike Zoom KD IV. Well that wasn’t even close. The Big Fundamental and his team overpowered the likes of the Big Three by a huge margin last night, the Spurs ending up victorious in a 113-77 win. Many of the sneaker selections stayed the same in terms of models, although we saw plenty of color switch ups given that the tables turned in terms of home/away orientation. The world’s best basketball player didn’t have the greatest night but his sneakers had a pretty good one, as there were some five Nike LeBron wears on the floor between the Nike LeBron X Elite, Nike LeBron X, and the Nike Zoom Soldier VI. Even Kevin Durant was around thanks to free agent Gary Neal, who channeled both his shoes (Nike Zoom KD IV on feet) and his three point shooting (six for the night). The Heat struck back last night, taking care of the Spurs in a not-even-close Game 2. LeBron James cooled down just a little bit in terms of footwear, this time bringing out a previous PE instead of wowing us with yet another alternate colorup. D-Wade shed the black and gold in favor of a more Heat-leaning red and yellow pair of Li-Ning exclusives, and Chris Bosh continued to be the flag-bearer for the Nike Air Max Hyperposite. Outside of that the Spurs was again a diverse team: Manu Ginobli stayed in LeBron footwear with his “Prism”, Tim Duncan wore the adidas Crazyquick again, and Tony Park preferred Peak (Although we’ve still yet to see that finals PE). Game 1 of the 2013 NBA Finals is in the books and it’s Spurs 1-0. The Heat sneaker scene at the American Airlines Arena in Miami last night proved a hopeful one, one littered with gold laden footwear that certainly spoke towards the title that’s on the line. Dwyane Wade hit the court in a black/gold/white Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore, Ray Allen opted for his white and gold Air Jordan XX8 special, and LeBron’s sneakers had that a little bit of that floss factor as well thanks to a gold Swoosh stamped on the side. The Spurs kept things pretty close to their regular season wears, Tim Duncan showing off the adidas Crazyquick and the likes of Manu Ginobli and Danny Green taking on King James in a few black based pairs from his own Nike LeBron series. Continue reading for a peek at the on-feet action and stay tuned as Sneaker News brings you all the way to that Larry O’Brien trophy this year with NBA Feet.

An explanation for the nickname on these latest Dwyane Wade Li-Nings isn’t clear at this time, but US sneakerheads hope it means they’re finally announcing US availability. In any case, the Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore ‘Announcement’ has pronounced its presence in what would have traditionally have been seen as a Miami Heat playoff colorway. Wade has been wearing other makeups through the postseason, including several different white-based designs and one eye-catching red/yellow makeup. Have a closer look after the jump and stick with Sneaker News to see if these ever make it stateside.

You’d think that with all the buzz surrounding Dwyane Wade’s new Li-Ning Way of Wade shoe that that Chinese sportswear brand would feel compelled to extended the sphere of distribution just a bit. U.S. sneakerheads haven’t really had a chance at them quite yet, but the good news is that they finally seem to be extending beyond their native China. Shown are four colorways of the Li-Ning Way of Wade that drop tomorrow out in the Philippines, which at the very least shows that distribution isn’t limited to the brand’s home country and that the U.S. market may eventually get them as well. See the four Li-Ning Way of Wade pairs that will be available this Friday at Titan and stay tuned for more release info.

Is it the shoes? We’re not gonna sit here and say that Dwyane Wade’s decision to revert to the Li-Ning Way of Wade proper rather than the Encore edition was the reason he finally got out of that slump, but it’s still an interesting asterisk for his 21-point performance last night. The first half had him in a rather red Li-Ning Way of Wade PE, while the second saw him switch to the more standard, white-based pair. Get a full look at Dwyane Wade’s Li-Ning Way of Wade PE after the jump and stay tuned just in case there’s a championship pair on the way.

The entirety of Dwyane Wade’s signature line sort of feels like a player exclusive affair to folks in America, as the sneakers still haven’t popped up as available over here. Further taunting us, D-Wade brought out another special colorway of his Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore during the Heat’s Game 5 victory over the Indiana Pacers. That pair had a fiery red and gold colorway attached, perhaps the brightest of all his post-season footwear so far. See the photos below and tell us if you’re one of the ones waiting to be able to purchase a Li-Ning Way of Wade Encore set for yourself.
