Right after receiving the teaser, we’ve now got a full set of images on the CNCPTS x Vans Syndicate project that’s in the works. The silhouette used is the Vans Sk8-Hi, which gets outfitted with a sort of paisley looked etched along the sides and a silky red lining for the innards. It turns out that the pair is not another Porky’s tribute as we’d originally surmised, but rather one that nods to Boston’s now extinct red-light style district known as the Combat Zone. See more on the sneakers right after the jump and watch for the CNCPTS x Vans Syndicate Sk8-Hi “Combat Zone” to release this Saturday, March 30th, at Concepts in Boston.

The Vans team is back in bed with Diemme, a collaboration which will once again result in the fanciest of leather hitting on some of your favorite Off the Wall skate silhouettes. The Vans Sk8-Hi and the Vans Slip-On are the models selected, both of which let the leather shine with simple black and navy set ups. It’s also worth noting that the models have been rebranded thanks to the Diemme partnership, getting called the Vans Montebelluna Hi LX and the Vans Montebelluna Lo LX here. See both Italian takes on the Vans heritage (Releasing this April) after the jump and tell us if you think they’re worth the $350 and $300 price tags attached.

Taka Hayashi’s latest twists on the Off the Wall legacy involves a couple of vulc soled standards applying a premium take on a familiar look. The Taka Hayashi x Vans Revere Hi and TH Cornice LX are the latest Vans to feature palm leaf prints, these Sk8-Hi and Chukka Boot variations looking comfortable with premium leather accents. The curious thing about this pack, and the reason it’s called ‘Palm Checker’ is because the medial answer to this leafy lateral print is the classic Vans checkerboard, which for whatever reason, has been omitted in both the Revere preview and these latest shots. We’d guess blue and white checks on the inner half but finding out for sure appears to be part of the fun of copping this latest Taka x Vans Vault drop scheduled for next month.

It looks like CNCPTS is teaming up with Vans Syndicate for an upcoming release. The project has been teased out in a fashion consistent with their most recent work in the collab realm, as a nebulous image and a release date are all that there is to draw from at this point. However you’ll notice that a neon sign style graphic is used once again, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they are heading back to the Porky’s theme from their recent Nike SB Dunk High release. Following up on Mike Hill’s mint Authentic collabo comes another Vans lowtop for spring 2013 in soft green. Fast forward a few years in terms of design, a few decades in terms of release date and take a tiny jump on the color wheel and you end up with this new Seafoam green Vans TNT 5. Suede where the aforementioned Authentics were canvas, this ocean green TNT 5 looks solid with white accents including a tonal stripe on the classic waffle sole. There has been considerable discussion of bunny-themed sneakers this spring as we approach the return of the Air Jordan VIII Retro ‘Bugs’. Last time that 1993 classic released was as a part of the Countdown Pack series that also included a pair of Bugs Bunny-associated VIIs called the ‘Hare’. Today we see a Japanese brand by that name go in roughly the opposite direction, sneaker-wise, as the Hare x Vans Authentic goes for an artsy floral print instead of a cartoon theme. Following up on his Sk8-Hi collaboration comes another iconic Vans silhouette colored by 2011 Skateboard Mag ‘Best Am’ Elijah Berle. This new Elijah Berle x Vans Old Skool ’92 Pro is similar to his Sk8s with its use of a conservative color palette. But whereas the Sk8s utilize all black plus blaze orange, there’s just a hint of the latter on this pair’s heel, while the upper is split between black and olive. It’s an extremely wearable combination with just a little flash as you walk away, and is available now straight from Atlas.

Making a splash toward the end of the Half Cab 20th anniversary celebration last year, the Vans Cab Lite has been all but silent in 2013. Here’s a new colorway that ends that drought and built in a similar style to the earlier releases. In fact, this latest Cab Lite features the same tonal black upper as the introductory pair, but also blacks out the sockliner and sole for an even stealthier approach.
