Over the last few years, we’ve noticed an evolution in Kanye West’s personal style, going from streetwear brands to a more luxury ‘high-end’ type of urban apparel. What hasn’t wavered is his love for sneakers, and as one of the most influential tastemakers and sneakerheads of our generation, the partnership between ‘Ye and Nike has produced the most sought after sneakers of the decade – the Nike Air Yeezy. While we’ve seen clear looks at the Air Yeezy 2 over the last few months, we have yet to finalize solid release information – but as long as we keep seeing them out in public, we can at least hope a release in imminent (currently rumored for March 23rd). Kanye West was recently spotted at London Fashion Week wearing the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in the ‘Zen Grey’ colorway; he matched it with his two-toned denim outfit, a bright green sweater, and a healthy helping of gold chains around his neck. Throughout its history Nike Basketball has never held back when it came to delivering its message in the most unique ways. From the earliest Michael Jordan ads to LeBron James’ ‘Rise’, Nike has managed to cover all of angles, but we’ve never seen as anything so star-studded and profoundly packaged like the Kobe System. We’ve arrived at the seventh and final level of the KobeSystem, but some of you may not even have grasped the take-away message that each lesson provides; we’re certain a chunk of viewers can relate with Kanye West when he says “What the @#$^ are you talking about, Kobe Bryant?”. Maybe you won’t get it until you put on the shoes and put the System to test, but until you do so, you won’t reach the heightened level of success like Kobe has in his career. Even Richard Branson, the focus of this lesson, can learn a thing or two from the #KobeSystem, so check out the video below and let us know what your favorite Kobe System ‘Lesson’ has been.

“What the $%&@ does that mean, Kobe Bryant?” – Kanye West
The Level 6 lesson of Kobe Bryant’s Kobe System is directed at Kanye West, the global superstar who has reached levels of success in music, fashion, and every other pop culture category you can think. But Kobe knows that with the Kobe System, Kanye West can do better; can Kanye West be a different animal, but the same beast? Can he – or anyone else for that matter - even comprehend the message of Level 6? Check out the video below and let us know what you think.

What if your days of success are behind you, and you’ve graciously retired from the game that you once dominated? According to Kobe Bryant’s Kobe System, domination can be achieved in any setting. In the Level 5 seminar of the Kobe System, Kobe Bryant instructs NFL great Jerry Rice to dominate retirement by essentially dominating anything in life. Breakfast, art, waffles, the sun, kickflips – all can be dominated with the key ingredients of the Kobe System, but some in the crowd don’t seem to be affected by Kobe’s message just yet; Kanye West can be seen dozing off during this portion of the Kobe System seminar, only to be awaken by the raucous applause at the end of the lecture. Check out the Level 5 video below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for the final two levels of the Kobe System.

“Where do you go from the top? You go . . . over the top.”
And what if you’re already really successful? Just thank Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba formally welcomed us to the #KobeSystem over the weekend in a tongue-in-cheek setting that blends a Tony Robbins-style motivational speech with a bit of Oprah under-your-seat giveaway. Tony himself was on hand, as were a bunch of other extremely successful folks like Sir Richard Branson, Kanye West, Paul Rodriguez and Serena Williams, along with the comic stylings of Aziz Ansari. You might not think that a quirkily ironic video like this would even need comic relief, but Aziz’ lines are well placed and bring us full-circle on all the teaser videos we saw last week. Click through to see more and be on the lookout for more Nike Kobe VII System ’testimonial’ videos in the weeks to come.

Kanye West took globetrotting for exotic fashions to new heights during his meteoric rise to fame in the middle of last decade, and Yeezy was once again spotted going gorillas in Paris yesterday, where the black Mercedes he was seen riding within matched every item of clothing he wore. That includes the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in black and pink, a colorway that carried over from the first Air Yeezy and perhaps represents the Kanye x Nike collaboration better than any other. ’Ye was seen with a notebook in hand as he headed down the sidewalk; could he have been crafting the early sketches of the Air Yeezy 3? We haven’t even gotten much more than a peep at any of the other upcoming Air Yeezy 2 colorways yet, so let’s slow down for a moment, and take the opportunity to see it in the City of Lights after the jump, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for updates. via Bauer-Griffin.

“Where do you go from the top? You go over the top.”
The #KobeSystem lays the blueprint for the successful to become even more successful. Just check out Kobe’s Success System self help seminar and you’ll get all the answers you need. How do you know when you’re in the #KobeSystem? Look at your feet. Seems simple enough. It’s all about “adapting to succeed” so you’ll have to adapt into a new pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Supreme to see for yourself. If it’s good enough for megastars like Kanye West, Jerry Rice and Richard Branson among others, this might be worth looking into. Enjoy the “Welcome to the #KobeSystem” video after the jump and let us know if it works for you.

Just last night Sneaker News broke the news of a possible Nike Air Yeezy 3 in its beginning stages, as Kanye West mysteriously tweeted his desire to ‘sketch’ the Nike Air Yeezy 3. While this news is rather exciting, we still don’t know much about the Nike Air Yeezy 2, except that the tentative release date is currently set at March 23, 2012, and that the group of people who are known to have the Yeezy 2s in their possession is rather exclusive. You can add Kanye’s ‘big brother’ to that list, as Jay-Z was spotted sitting courtside at last night’s Nets/Hawks game wearing the Air Yeezy 2 in the Black/Pink colorway. The Yeezy 2 is apparently a hot courtside-Feet item for the Watch The Throne stars as Kanye West was also seen wearing the Yeezy 2 during the Christmas Day game between the Lakers and Heat. Check out Jay-Z and the Nike Air Yeezy 2 below and stick with Sneaker News for more Yeezy 2 info and updates.
