The “Wheat” look is at an all time high right now as far as Nike Sportswear is concerned. There are “Wheat” Foamposites, “Wheat” Air Force 1s, and now another pair of “Wheat” Bo Jacksons. This time around they’re taking it back to the Air Trainer 1, that Hatfield classic that was initially introduced to the world by John McEnroe. This new pair doesn’t go too heavy on the boot detailing, but it’s got the monotone haystack look along with some gum on bottom. See the full photo for them below below and keep it locked on Sneaker News for a release date.

Does this Nike Air Trainer 1 Low style look familiar to you? You might have to do a double take if you’ve got a photographic memory for sneaker releases, as they definitely look rather like this pair from back in June. Look again though – they are indeed a different shoe. The topline on the midsole is a different shade and the toebox gets blacked out this time around. Browse images on this Nike Air Trainer 1 with us after the break and then head to JD Sports if you want to add them to your collection.

foot locker black pack Foot Locker Europe Back To Black Collection

Foot Locker Europe has crafted the new “Back to Black” collection, which gatheres silhouettes from Nike and adidas and informally groups them together based on them adhering to the darkest end of the colorblocking spectrum. You’ve seen some of these before, like the Nike Huarache pair, but there are also brand new sneakers included like an all black Nike Roshe Run and an adidas ZX Flux that has kind of a Jordan Future feel. Find photos of each after the break and watch for these exclusively at Foot Locker Europe locations right now.

Safari Print, Elephant Print, anything is fair game atop the Nike Air Trainer 1 Low currently, just as long as it ties into some sort of Tinker Hatfield creation. The latest pair opts for the Air Jordan 3 staple but keeps things rather toned down thanks to an all black aesthetic. There’s still plenty to see here though, whether it be that textile like Swoosh to stand out just enough or the textured elephant print on the side panels and heel. What do you think of the latest Nike Air Trainer 1 Low? Hit the click for more images and grab a pair today via Oneness.

When thinking about the rare sneaker samples that had collectors in the frenzy over the last few years, the name of DJ Clark Kent immediately comes to mind. In 2009, the Brooklyn-based producer and DJ got the opportunity to collaborate with Nike for a special release commonly referred to as the “112 Pack”, which features the Air Force 1, Air Max 1, and Air Trainer 1 dressed up in an incredible combination of Volt tones, Elephant Print, and Reflective panels. The three details are indeed honored figments of legendary Nikes of the past, but to see them all together at once? Gotta give credit to Clark for that.
