The Nike Sportswear “Flax” Collection will release tomorrow, November 1st, 2014. It was a bit murky on whether the Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid would actually be apart of this weekend’s Timberland-inspired aesthetic, but we now have a confirmation. That being said, you now have three options instead of just the Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Air Force 1 Mid to mull over. Which will you choose? Continue onward for one last look at this autumn-ready trio and let us know where you stand by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

Nike Sportswear “Flax” Collection

The sneaker community has “wheat” fever and Nike knows it. In fact, not only do they know it, they’re acting on it. Today we take a look at the Nike Sportswear “Flax” Collection. Featuring the Nike Air Force 1 Mid, Air Max 1 and the Air Trainer 1, each of these three classic silhouettes are reimagined with wheat-inspired coloring to help usher in cooler weather, with a tone Timberland made famous with their 6-inch boot. Employing a nubuck base, the trio comes fitted in an all-flax upper married to gum outers and boot-inspired lacing. Both the Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 incorporate baroque brown along the mids while the Uptown keeps things truly monochrome. This hyped collection hits stores on November 1st with prices ranging from $120-130. Which pair(s) do you plan to pick up? Browse the looks below and let us know.

Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid PRM QS “Wheat”

Which Nike “Wheat” retro will you be harvesting this November? A quick search yields no less than five pairs donning the Timberland-aesthetic, and the latest pair might make the most sense out of all of them and here’s why: Bo Jackson helped champion Nike’s training series with the advent of this Nike Air Trainer 1. Bo was a man of principle, harnessed what could be the first noted case of super human strength, and he worked hard. Hard workers wear Timberland boots. Ok, that may be a stretch for why you should snatch up this pair, but while the Air Max 1 may have a little bit too much of that brown on the midsole, the gum extension here does enough to break up the accent color to make it work. Both the “Wheat” Air Force 1 Mid and “Wheat” Air Max 1 drop on November 1st, so although a date hasn’t come out for this Air Trainer, look for it to arrive around that time.

Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid PRM “Chlorophyll”

Could it be that the Nike Air Trainer 1 “Chlorophyll” is already back with another retro re-issue? We sort of doubt it given how recently the shoes were on shelves – it was 2012 that they last had a release. With that being said, the team over at Sneaker Politics does apparently have some stock at the moment. If we had to guess we’d say these are leftovers from the last run, but either way it deserves your attention as the pair is the kind of classic worthy of a spot in any rotation. Have another glance at these Bo Jackson trainers and then get in touch with Politics to get some Air Trainer 1s of your own.

Nike Air Trainer 1 “Wheat”

The “Wheat” look is at an all time high right now as far as Nike Sportswear is concerned. There are “Wheat” Foamposites, “Wheat” Air Force 1s, and now another pair of “Wheat” Bo Jacksons. This time around they’re taking it back to the Air Trainer 1, that Hatfield classic that was initially introduced to the world by John McEnroe. This new pair doesn’t go too heavy on the boot detailing, but it’s got the monotone haystack look along with some gum on bottom. See the full photo for them below below and keep it locked on Sneaker News for a release date.
