Reebok Shaqnosis – Blue – Black – Neon

Reebok‘s retro basketball imprint has seen a resurgence for the first time since the shoes actually hit retailers in the early to mid 90s. We’ve gotten some gems like Shawn Kemp’s Reebok Kamikaze while lesser-celebrated pairs like the Reebok The Blast even turned heads. But at the helm of all of these patterned aesthetics has to be the Reebok Shaqnosis. The shoe has taken a bit of a step back for the time being – the last time we saw the sneaker was in a Miami Heat-like Black/Yellow-Red and that was in late August. But today we get a look at a brand new colorway, one that utilizes a digitized gradient of black to blue while neon green hints splash on the outsole. It’s a look that was almost an Orlando Magic reference had it not been for the lime inclusion. What do you think? Check out more of this upcoming Reebok Shaq release and stay tuned for a release date announcement in the coming days.

Reebok Shaqnosis – Black – Yellow – Red

reebok shaqnosis og black yellow red 1 Reebok Shaqnosis Black Yellow Red

It’s been a while since we saw the Reebok Shaqnosis. The most recognizable silhouette of Shaq’s tenure at the vector brand has seen its fare share of vibrant colorways since returning to form early in 2013, the most recent being a collaboration with Sneakersnstuff that paid tribute to all of the teams that The Diesel suited up for over his legendary career. This colorway is perhaps the most obvious Miami Heat callout yet thanks to a flame like print on the black and red outsole while a dose of sunshine yellow arrives on the upper in a nod to the hue seen on the current South Beach hardwood. What do you think? Check out more images after the click and know that this pair is available from select international retailers like afew today.

Two Heat victories and a Sneaker Con had Miami feeling all sorts of love this past weekend. Sneakersnstuff closes out perhaps the biggest store x brand collaborative collection with the release of “Tribute”. Their take on the Reebok Shaqnosis is an homage to Reebok’s greatest signature basketball athlete (or so they believe), bringing in the team jersey colors of all the squads he suited up for. That would be Orlando, Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, Cleveland, and Boston, with the white leather acting as a clean backdrop. These are set to drop on December 18th at Sneakernstuff so check out the detailed gallery below and let us know which SNS x Reebok collaboration this year was your favorite.

The team at SneakersNStuff really did it; they really came out with 12 Reebok collabs in as many months. Finishing off the year for the Swedish squad is this Reebok Shaqnosis creation. The shoes feature a kind of rainbow look on the upper that alternates between suede and leather as far as the curving lines across the side are concerned. We’d expect these to hit at SNS first as per usual, but for now it appears that hanon will have them on December 18th, 2013. Get the rest of the images after the break and tell us in the comments where this pair ranks amongst SNS’s countless collabs from this year.

NBA Feet: Weekend Recap – 11/01 – 11/03

nba feet weekend recap nov 1 3 NBA Feet: Weekend Recap 11/01 11/03

It was a surprising first week to the NBA season to say the least. After all who would’ve expected the Philadelphia 76ers to finish a week one schedule against the likes of the Bulls and Heat and come out on top in both games? Perhaps it was the added boost of Tony Wroten heat in the form of those Air Jordan 12 Mache customs or his Air Jordan 5 “Toro Bravos”, but the weekend featured a bunch of head-turning selections elsewhere too. Russell Westbrook returned from injury early to showcase the Air Jordan XX8 SE in a Thunder PE. And while Rus was doing his thing in OKC, LeBron was still trying to figure out what would work for him in Brooklyn as he switched from his LeBron 11s back to the Nike LeBron X Elites for the second half. Continue reading to get a full rundown of this past weekend’s NBA Feet and stay tuned for our next installment.
