Brain Dead Covers The Reebok Shaqnosis In Moss-Like Suede

Brain Dead Covers The Reebok Shaqnosis In Moss-Like Suede

Despite a strong focus on Allen Iverson’s first signature model, Reebok has recently turned to Shaquille O’Neal’s iconic Shaqnosis silhouette in celebration of its basketball shoe archive. And while the Massachusetts-based company continues to work on its own, it’s also tapping collaborators like Brain Dead for new takes on classic designs.

Akin to other pairs reimagined by the Klye Ng-led collective, the newly-surfaced Reebok Shaqnosis indulges in hairy suede throughout its upper. The material’s dark green makeup draws comparisons to overgrown phenomena out in nature, while the tan counterpart found throughout the upper further reference the outdoors. Shaq’s iconic dunk logo is reworked alongside Brain Dead’s at the vamp and spine, taking on a faint neon green hue in the process. Underfoot, Ng and team apply a dark color combination to the sneaker’s sole unit, rounding out the nature-inspired ensemble.

Enjoy detailed images of the pair ahead, courtesy of END. Launches, and anticipate a reebok.com soon.
