Nike Air Force 1 Premium – Black History Month 08

Nike Air Force 1 Premium – Black History Month 08

Every year Nike commemorates Black History Month with a special shoe which sometimes is sold to the general public but for the past few years has been given out to various celebrities, youth groups, or to charitable cause. Last year we witnessed the Air Max 90 that was one of the shoes that flew under the radar because it had not been publicized but this year Nike seems to have hit the nail on the head with their Air Force 1 Low Premium. This particular Air Force 1 has various Premium detailing to it and the shoe uses inspiration from African mud cloth for parts of the upper, but the difference is that on every shoe there is a different piece of a large mud cloth making each and every shoe different than the other. In addition the shoe features a lasered design on the toe box, wooden lace aglets, and a wooden BHM 08 dubrae. Perhaps the best part about these Air Force 1’s is that even though Nike sought inspiration from various aspects of African American culture they were able to carefully place it in an aesthetically pleasing way on their classic Air Force 1 in addition to using premium craftsmanship. This particular pair will not be sold to the public and is extremely limited, best of luck in finding a pair.
