Black/Varsity Red-White – 338145-061 – 10/1/2008 Release

Although the Air Jordan 1 has become a lifestyle sneaker as a retro, vintage models are still heavily sought after by collectors. But in the 80’s, before there were the big name skate shoe companies, many skated in the Air Jordan 1 as there were few alternatives available. Jordan Brand, this season, has decided to pay homage to that aspect of Jordan history with the Air Jordan 1 Low Phat. All the pieces of the Air Jordan 1 are in place and little has changed, silhouette wise, but additional padding has been added to the innards and to the tongue. This is similar to what was done to the Nike Dunk as it was slowly converted into the Nike SB version. Three colorways are scheduled for October 1st, 2008 with the two classic red-black and blue-black colorways scheduled for December 1st, 2008.
