In 2004, Nike release the Huarache 2K4 and it quickly became the most popular Huarache since the original Air Flight Huarache which was a favorite of Kobe Bryant. Kobe also loved the Huarache 2K4 but with the Huarache 2K5 and subsequent editions, the designs were lacking. With the 2008 edition, Nike revisits what was popular with the Air Flight Huarache and adds some 2008 flavors to create the Huarache ‘08 BBall. Now after being on the market for six months, Nike has made the Huarache 08 available for customizing on Nike iD.
