Vans Syndicate x Jason Jesse – Sk8-Hi – Deep Ankle Cut

If you’re of the mind that Vans has gone overboard with Sk8-Hi collabos lately, you better hold off on that until they slip up.  This pair from Vans’ upscale Syndicate line raises the classic Sk8-Hi to a new eschelon.  Instead of the floppy old Sk8s you’re used to, these actually have some padding and ankle support.  You’ll also notice that there’s a nice deep cut in the rear ankle for mobility.

Details like that implemented on the luxurious black leather upper chosen by Jason Jesse make this one a winner.  They even have a leather insole!  The white stitching on the upper and carmel stripe on the midsole do well to balance out all the black.  We expect these next spring.  You can expect to follow the jump to see several other shots of these black beauties.  Good look, Offthewallsite.com
