Like any sneakerhead, Lindy Darrell spends a considerable amount of time hunting for his grails. However, Darrell’s approach is a lot less conventional than modern shoe-searching methods in use today; eBay and online auction sites are definitely useful tools for him to exploit, but Lindy Darrell devotes his time exploring the basements and “old-stuff” boxes in attics of former Nike athletes and employees. But finding his pair is only half his satisfaction; he devotes just as much time restoring these retro runners into tip-top shape, and his devoted clientele is left with all smiles. Lindy Darrell is a true OG, so to get familiar on his shoe-game experiences and his thoughts on upcoming retro releases, check out some of his vintage collection after the jump and read the entire interview at SneakerFreaker.
