The recent releases of Barkleys and Pippens from the 90’s should have left with a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, but turn the clock back just a little more to the Nike Air Go that featured ‘Lightweight Performance’ (or ‘LWP’). The Air Go was seen all around the league – guess you can call it the Hyperdunk of that era – because it was so lightweight. Guards would experience optimal advantages from a trimmed-down shoe, which is why guys like Penny Hardaway, Tim Hardaway, Reggie Miller, and many other guards preferred the Air Go LWP. One of the more memorable colorways was easily the ‘Orlando’ colorway worn by Penny, and fortunately these are set to drop very soon. In fact, they just hit EastBay for pre-order with a ship-date of November 20th so take a look at the detailed shots after the jump and let us know if these are a must-have for you.
