For every Duke fan, there are seventeen Duke haters. And for every Duke hater, there are countless reasons behind the hate. Sure, Duke is a perennial contender and their coach is one of the greatest basketball minds in history, but why pay respects when you can sling mud, especially after yesterday’s comeback win against the UNC Tar Heels? The ire against Durham swelled up just a bit, but some of you may have noticed Seth Curry wearing the Kobe VI in grey/blue. In any case, here’s a look at the upcoming Nike Zoom Kobe VI in Varsity Royal, Black, and White; these are often attributed to Duke University because that school was Kobe’s choice (had he chosen to go to college), but he spurned blue and white for yellow and purple (after being traded from teal and violet).
